Cindy Fisher, Manager
Cindy joined the Pacific Crest family in June 2010. With both of her kids grown and out of the house, she spends the majority of her time at the clinic focusing on client care and case management. She is dedicated to ensuring that Pacific Crest Equine's commitment to excellence both in medical diagnostics and treatment, as well ensuring that client care be upheld. When not at the clinic, you will find her spending time working on the family ranch.
Amanda Baker, Front Office
Amanda was born with the horse gene, and despite never owning horses, she knew after graduating high school in 2007, she was going to pursue a degree in Equine Science. She enrolled that fall at College of the Sequoias and joined the Women’s Equestrian Team and showed with the team for 3 years. After she completed her Equine Science Certificate at College of the Sequoias, she transferred to Fresno State and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Production Sciences with an emphasis in Equine Science in 2014. During her last year in school, she was hired on as a part time Veterinary Assistant with Pacific Crest Equine in November 2014 and has transitioned to working the in the Front Office.
Courtney Mitchell, Vet Assistant
Courtney Mitchell was born and raised in Los Banos, CA and always had a love for animals. To fulfill that love, she went to a tech school to become a Veterinary Technician, where she graduated from in February 2016. She worked with small animals for a while before she switched sides and joined us in March of 2016. ON her spare time, she likes to trail ride in the back country and play with her dogs Sitka and Brindle.
Alyshia Bier, Vet Assistant
Alyshia was born and raised in neighboring Visalia. She started volunteering for Pacific Crest in April of 2013, and currently works full time as a vet assistant while taking classes at College of the Sequoias. After completing her coursework at COS, she plans on transferring to UC Davis to further her education and pursue her goal of becoming a veterinarian. When not working or studying, she enjoys playing volleyball and working with her Appaloosa yearling, Dakota.
Taylor McGrath, Vet Assistant
Taylor comes to us from Clovis, CA. While attending California State University, Fresno, she soon discovered Pacific Crest Equine through a job listing posted on campus. She began volunteering with us while obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, and graduated in May 2016. Since graduation, she has become a vet assistant and now has applied to Veterinary School to become a large animal veterinarian, with hopes of being accepted for the 2017 year. In Taylor’s spare time, she loves doing anything outdoors; hiking in Yosemite, riding bikes or playing with her dogs.
Kaylee Beals, Vet Assistant
Kaylee was born and raised in Strathmore California. After graduating from Strathmore high school in 2013, she attended College of the Sequoias and graduated in fall of 2016 with an associates degree in animal science. She has always had a love for animals, especially horses. She started working at pacific crest as a vet assistant in August of 2017. In her spare time, she enjoys going on trail rides with her husband, Cole.
Pat Branson, Bookkeeper
Pat, who is originally from Boston, moved to California when she was 12 years old. Pat worked at Knudson Corporation for 21 yearsprior to joining the Pacific Crest Team in 2007. In her spare time she is busy spending time with her four wonderful grandkids.
